Associated Press Fact Check: Obama at 100 Days

Yep. Not Fox News.....the Associated Press.

Click the title and read on.

All I Will Say.......

....is that if this had occurred under Bush's watch, he would have been ripped to shreds by the Olbermanns of the world. Click on the post title.

To Olby's credit, he did rip into the guy at the White House who approved it.

But Obama gets a pass, and Robert Gibbs knew nothing about it, some four hours AFTER it happened. Did you see him at his daily press briefing Monday afternoon?

But no criticism......Dana Perino would have been skewered.

A MUST-READ!

As most of the MSM continues to sleep in the Lincoln Bedroom in the White House.....

Click the title for one of the best reads I've seen in a long time aptly and completely describing how much of the Fourth Estate LONGS to be the Fourth Branch of Government.

Remember the guys who Obama befriended last weekend?

Might want to check out their recently released "Declaration of Cumana".

You know, the Declaration that declares that capitalism is the root of all evil.

And we're going to TALK to these people and think we can PERSUADE them?

Between this, cap and trade, the Taliban 60 miles away from Islamabad, and the back door the government is taking to own some of our banks.....

Folks---this is NOT just left/right "usual politics", folks.

I have often wondered if the United States would survive my kids' lifetimes....

....now I'm worried.

Imagine walking into your annual shareholders meeting......

....only to find that the majority of the shareholders are the federal government.

Hmmmmm.......

....how do you make sure the Government doesn't run what should be a "private" business??

Well, you wouldn't. You couldn't.

Which is why we all should be scared silly about the quiet proposal regarding the nation's banks, TARP money, and the VERY REAL possibility that the Federal Government will become majority stockholders in many banks.

As Dick Morris says in his April 21 column (click on the title), that's what is found in a socialist society.

READ! Educate yourself.....while I wonder what the government will take over next.

Yeah, the CNN lady.......

Click the title to see a new blog find, "Unliberaled Woman" to read her comments (and see if you haven't already), the now-famous CNN "report" from a Tea Party on Wednesday.

There are reports that Tea Partiers there were calling her the "B" word, which, if so, is completely uncalled for.

But I must say if Jackie Robinson could spend two seasons on the baseball diamond enduring the most heinous of hecklings and epithets and not respond, the least Susan Roesgen could do is the same, for about three minutes.

Be a reporter, or get off the mike.

Oh, and guess what she "reported" during an anti-Bush rally in New Orleans? Click here to find out! (Thanks Michelle!)

CONTENT ADVISORY----So this is how low liberal media will go.....

No commentary necessary. (WARNING: there is vulgar content in the linked story)

Silence can still be golden.......

As for the U.S. Captain rescue on Sunday, thanks to the sharpshooters of our U.S. military, I've heard some people are upset because we "didn't hear" from President Obama during the crisis.

After thinking about it, I don't think it's a big deal at all. Seems to me he charged the people that needed to be with the task at hand and they pulled it off brilliantly.

So, in this case, silence should not bring on criticism. Hooray for our forces, and kudos to the President. :)

Obama realizes what he criticized was necessary, example no.#.........

.....oh, I've lost count.

Let's see.

"Bush started the stimulus spending!!"---That gives Obama permission to spend, now in the trillions.

"These are the LAST EARMARKS."---We heard that from Pelosi, Obama, & Co. a few weeks ago. Yeah, right.

And now?

The President is asking for $83 billion dollars for war funding.

You know, that evil "it's not in the budget" spending for the "War Formerly Known As The War On Terror".

Why?

Well, let's read shall we? Today's "response to why are we doing what Bush did" is from the usual suspect, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs. Emphasis mine.

"Robert Gibbs, the White House press secretary, acknowledged that Obama has been critical of Bush's use of similar special legislation to pay for the wars. He said it was needed this time because the money will be required by summer, before Congress is likely to complete its normal appropriations process.

"This will be the last supplemental for Iraq and Afghanistan. The process by which this has been funded over the course of the past many years, the president has discussed and will change," Gibbs said.

Last June, Congress approved $66 billion in advance 2009 funding for military operations. All told, the Pentagon would receive $142 billion in war funding for the budget year ending on Sept. 30."

----------------------------------

So, to repeat....

1) Bush did stimulus, so Obama does MORE! You know, "the Republicans forget they left us a trillion dollar debt" line? So let's just throw four trillion on top of it. Gee, can I go to Nordstrom's and spend like that?? Wouldn't I be helping the economy? Then I could just ask for a bailout.....

2) EARMARKS MUST STOP!--------Except for these few final ones......

and now:

3) NO MORE OFF BUDGET WAR SPENDING!

Shh! Except for this $83 billion.

-------------------------

MY POINT: I'm sure the military needs the $83 billion, but I just can't help but laugh at Robert Gibbs defending a policy his boss attacked a gazillion times during the campaign and since becoming President.

What's next?

Horrible Monday sitting at the porcelain god.......

I hadn't thrown up in seven years, until around 4:13am this morning.

Ugh.

Horrible night, horrible day. I just ate some toast and am hoping that sticks so I can take my night-time medicine.

Gotta, gotta, gotta be at work tomorrow somehow, someway!! Unless I'm a carrier of a bug, then I am SURE they won't want me to make my re-appearance.

Your prayers are appreciated.

The TV is on right now. I told Bonnie, I might see the NCAA title game, I may not (and anyone who knows me knows how much I LOVE MARCH MADNESS), I may see "24", I may have to catch up on this episode later this week at Hulu.

You know I feel bad. :( :(

---------------------------------------------

Having said all that, I do think two things:

1) Michigan State is a team of destiny and will find a way to beat North Carolina tonight.

2) Someone will find the antedote to whatever "incurable" condition Jack now finds himself in after being exposed to the chemical weapon two "24" episodes ago.

Good night!

Let's see who's right........ :)

I always pictured "Big Brother" as being older and gray......

....but the little Timmy that could just keeps on taking over American business.

Capitalism? What's that?!?! We have a crisis!!! We must do, do, do, act, act, act NOW!!!!

We have an absolutely SCARY person as Treasury Secretary with WAY MORE POWER than a Cabinet member should have.

But that's what happens when you elect the most liberal Senator in America President. BIG government gets BIGGER and BIGGER.

THOUGHT I HEARD TODAY: If the $4 Trillion Budget is supposed to jumpstart our economy, then wouldn't an $8 Trillion Budget do it either twice as fast, or, twice as well?

This just in---government spending NEVER equals prosperity.

And NOW with all this talk of "global economy" and "global currency", those of us who are Christians are most likely arching our necks north much moreso than we have in quite some time.

If you don't know why, go to Google and type in "Bible Last Days".
